Man killed in Southwest Philadelphia gunfire

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Gunfire broke out in Southwest Philadelphia leaving one man dead.

It happened around 9:00 Thursday night in the 5600 block of Baltimore Avenue.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was found in the street. He was pronounced dead.

Some of the bullets fired struck a nearby house but no one inside was harmed.

No word on a motive or any possible suspects.

Police are investigating.
