Teenager shot in face in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A teenager was shot in the face in Southwest Philadelphia Sunday morning.

The shooting occurred around 11:30 a.m. near the 7500 block of Elmwood Street.

Police say a 17-year-old male was shot once in the left side of the face.

He was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
