The Chicago Bears are giving running back D'Andre Swift a three-year, $24.5 million deal, including $15.3 million guaranteed, agent Trevon Smith at Athletes First told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired Swift from the Detroit Lions last April for a 2025 fourth-round pick and an exchange of seventh-round picks, marking a return home for the Philadelphia native. Swift, 25, went on to set career highs in rushing attempts (229) and yards (1,049) en route to his first Pro Bowl appearance.

He stayed largely healthy even with the increased workload, playing in 16 regular-season games -- a personal best since coming into the league in 2020.

While his numbers on the ground ballooned, his receiving stats (39 catches, 214 yards) declined, with the passing attack focused on receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert.

Still, he was one of just six running backs with at least 1,000 rushing yards and 35 receptions.

A second-round pick out of Georgia, Swift has 2,729 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns over four seasons to go with 1,412 yards and eight scores through the air.

ESPN's Tim McManus contributed to this report.
