PHILADELPHIA -- Darius Slay did it again.

A week after returning a fumble recovery 83 yards for a touchdown against the Denver Broncos, Slay intercepted Trevor Siemian late in the first half and ran it back 51 yards for the score to give the Philadelphia Eagles a 27-7 lead over the New Orleans Saints.

He's the first player to score defensive touchdowns in consecutive games this season, and the first Eagles player to do so since 2009 (Sheldon Brown), according to ESPN Stats & Information.

Slay, who has earned the nickname Big Play Slay over eight-plus seasons in the NFL, now has three defensive touchdowns on the year -- the other coming on a fumble return against his former team, the Detroit Lions. He is the first Eagles defensive player with three defensive touchdowns in a season since at least 2000.

Siemian was intercepted twice in the first half, the other pick by linebacker T.J. Edwards to set up one of Jalen Hurts' two rushing TDs. Those were Siemian's first two INTs since he took over as Saints quarterback.
