Philadelphia hosts Grand Finals for esport "Overwatch"

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- A crowd of over 11,000 came from around the world to watch two teams face off in the next big sport.

It's not played on a field nor with a ball. Rather, it is played on computer screens.

The Overwatch League is an international esports league with 20 teams and a 280-match regular season beginning in February each year. The Overwatch League Grand Finals for 2019 took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
