Replica grenade found at recycling facility in Grays Ferry

GRAYS FERRY (WPVI) -- Police and fire crews investigated a suspicious device found inside a recycling facility in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry section.

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of 29th and Grays Ferry Avenue.

Crews arrived to find a tubular package that turned out to be a replica grenade.

The building was evacuated as a precaution.

There were no reports of injuries.
