Man hospitalized after Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- A 19-year-old man is hospitalized after a shooting in Wilmington.

The shooting happened around 6:48 p.m. Friday at 20th and West streets.

Police said the man was walking in the immediate area when shots were fired and he was struck in the upper torso.

He was treated on the scene, and taken to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.

So far, no motive or arrests.
