Temple University Hospital welcomes 1st Philly baby of 2015

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Temple University Hospital welcomed Philadelphia's first baby of the New Year.

Sophia Graceland Dawson was born at 3:04 a.m. Thursday.

Her parents say they have been waiting for this little bundle of joy for 10 years.

She is the first child for the couple and the family's first grandchild.

New mom Amanda says for Sophia to be the first Philadelphia baby of 2015 makes it that much sweeter.
