If you're one of those "No Christmas music until after Thanksgiving" people, you might want to make an exception here.
Kristen Bell (who Disney fans may better know as Anna in "Frozen") and a capella group Straight No Chaser have released a holiday tune that will have you chuckling rather than reaching for the radio dial.

The song's premise is that texting has become the standard way to express real affection during the holiday season. Facebook, SnapChat and Twitter just aren't tender enough of expressions, the song postulates. And who leaves voice messages anymore?
While the song pokes fun at today's technology, it's also gaining traction as a holiday theme song for modern times. At one point it even makes a rhyme using "LOL."
It's going viral, with more than half a million views in less than 24 hours. And the song has celebrities and social media users alike LOL-ing and singing along.
Some people, though, have been criticizing the song's popularity, saying the parody highlights what's wrong with today's society.
This isn't the first time Straight No Chaser has gotten us in the Christmas spirit while making us giggle. The a capella group's most popular song on YouTube is another holiday parody called "Christmas Can-Can."
What did you think of the song? Did it make you sad at the state of modern communication? Or were you laughing and saying, "That's so true"? Let us know in the comments!
