Flyers bring holiday cheer to CHOP

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia celebrated the holidays with red, green and orange.

Tuesday Flyers players including Brayden Schenn, Wayne Simmonds and a Flyers orange Santa suit clad Travis Konecny visited the patients and surprised them with holiday gifts.

The players led a round of bingo and helped with arts and crafts.

They said spending time with the children helped put the holiday season in perspective.
