CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- The New Jersey Turnpike is open again in Cherry Hill after an earlier gas leak.
The highway had been closed between interchanges 3 and 4.
The incident was reported just before noon Friday.
Authorities say a contractor struck a gas pipe, causing the leak.
The line was struck during a demolition job at the old Victory Refrigeration Company on Woodcrest Rd. next to the Turnpike.
