Lighthouse PAL center block party

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The police officers from North Philadelphia's 25th district treated local children to a day of fun.

Residents brought their families to the Lighthouse PAL center for a block party.

The kids enjoyed activities like rock climbing and face painting.

The event also gave the officers a chance to interact with the citizens they serve.
