Person of interest arrested in Tioga-Nicetown assault

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- A person of interest has been arrested after an assault in the Tioga-Nicetown section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 5:40 p.m. Friday along the 3600 block of North 19th Street.

Initial reports are a female head-butted a man as a means of defending herself during an altercation.

The female has been apprehended as a person of interest.

No word at this time on the extent of the victim's injuries.

Police are investigating.
