BRIDESBURG (WPVI) -- Police were on the scene after a person was struck and killed by a SEPTA train Wednesday morning in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia.
It happened on SEPTA's Trenton Line near the Bridesburg station just after 8 a.m.
Officers were called to the scene for reports of a trespasser on the tracks.
SEPTA says the male victim was hit by a train that was headed to Center City.
The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation.
