1 person injured in Trenton shooting

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say one person was injured after a shooting in Trenton, New Jersey Wednesday night.

The shooting occurred shortly after 11:00 p.m. along Mechanics Avenue.

Someone opened fire on the block and critically injured one person, police say.

So far, there is no word on arrests or motive for the shooting.

The victim has not been identified.
