2 injured in Trenton shooting

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Two people were hospitalized following a shooting in Trenton, New Jersey Monday afternoon.

It was around 1:00 p.m. when police responded to the area of N. Broad Street and E. Hanover Street for a report of a shooting.

Officers arrived to find two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the victims, a 44-year-old male, was hit in the shoulder. The other victim, a 21-year-old male, was shot in the leg. Both were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
