Man seriously hurt in South Philadelphia crash

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -- A 69-year-old man was seriously hurt in a crash in South Philadelphia.

It happened around 5:45 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of 20th Street and Passyunk Avenue.

A 69-year-old man was seriously hurt in a crash in South Philadelphia.

Investigators say the driver lost control of his minivan, hit a Ford Fusion and then slammed into a parked car.

The victim was taken to Jefferson University Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Ford Fusion is expected to be OK.
