9-vehicle crash jams traffic on I-295 NB at Rt. 30 in Haddon Heights

HADDON HEIGHTS, N.J. -- A multi-vehicle crash caused major delays in the northbound lanes of Interstate 295 near Route 30 (White Horse Pike).

It happened around 6:15 a.m. Friday in Haddon Heights, New Jersey.

Nine vehicles collided in a chain-reaction crash.

Officials say it started as a minor crash with two vehicles, and then the pileup happened after.

Chopper 6 was over the scene of a crash on I-295 Friday morning.

Chopper 6 was over the highway as the vehicles were getting towed.

Despite the mess, only one minor injury was reported at the scene.
