Pa. Meals on Wheels team serves seniors for over 50 years
SOUDERTON, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Hundreds of volunteers at Generations of Indian Valley have been driven to help seniors for over 50 years with their Meals on Wheels program in Souderton, PA.
Roughly 300 volunteers make it possible to provide 200 people with two meals per day.
Volunteers like Ray Richie and Roy Shrum fill their cars with heated bags and roller coolers before beginning their routes.
They not only deliver food, but also check up on seniors to make sure their needs are met.
