NARBERTH, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- From 1976 to 2026, Miss Lopresti has been a guiding hand for countless children who have come through her classroom.
And now, that hand waves goodbye with a school-wide celebration you just have to see to believe.
She has taught at St. Margaret School for all 50 years of her amazing career. And on Friday, May 29 2026, the school celebrated 'Miss Lopresti Day.'
It started with a crowning of Mary in the schoolyard, followed by a mass dedicated to the beloved 2nd-grade teacher.
Then, students filled the auditorium to perform songs, poetry, and skits dedicated to Miss Lopresti.
The Narberth Fire Department invited Miss Lopresti into the passenger's seat for a drive-by in the fire truck.
After retiring this school year, Miss Lopresti intends on returning to help out around the school in a smaller capacity.
Watch the video above to see what all the heartwarming moments meant to her.
