Longtime 6abc employee Dominick Agatone dies at 85

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The 6abc family is mourning the loss of a longtime employee.

Dominick Agatone, who worked on our production staff from 1965 through 2005, passed away last week.

During his time at WPVI, Dominick ran the production truck for some big time events such as Live Aid and the opening of the Kimmel Center.

He served in the Air Force as an aviation mechanic prior to his time with Channel 6.

Agatone is survived by his wife Joan, and sons Mike, Ken and Kevin along with their wives and his grand children.

Dominick Agatone was 85 years old.
