Video released in Walmart hit-and-run, man charged

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. (WPVI) -- Investigators have released surveillance video of the moment a man was hit by a car in a Walmart parking lot.

The video shows the 35-year-old victim outside of the Walmart on the unit block of Nassau Park Boulevard in Mercer County.

Investigators say he was heading to his car Thursday morning, when he was struck.

The driver left the scene, but was later found by police.

Investigators believe the victim was targeted.

"After we identified the individual behind the wheel through a lot of investigative leads, located where he was and actually waited for them to come home to that address," said West Windsor Township Police Lt. Matthew Kemp.

Milton Ferguson is charged with aggression assault.

The victim was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton for nonlife-threatening injuries.
