WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a robbery inside a Wawa store in the city's Wissinoming section.
It happened on January 4 at the store on the 6000 block of Harbison Avenue.
Surveillance video shows the suspect walking into the Wawa just before 5 a.m.
He walks behind the counter and puts several cartons of cigarettes into a plastic bag.
When he was confronted by employees, he placed his hand into his jacket and simulated as if he had a weapon.
The thief fled the store with in an older model blue Pontiac Bonneville with PA tag: JLM-1642.
He was last seen on Harbison Avenue heading toward Frankford Avenue.
There were no injuries reported.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, 20-25 years-old, 5'5"-5'7" tall, 180 lbs. with a stocky build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and blue sneakers.
