Clouds increase tomorrow ahead of a brief rain/snow shower early Thursday. Tumbling temperatures and strong winds follow.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Clouds increase Wednesday ahead of a brief rain/snow shower early Thursday. Tumbling temperatures and strong winds follow.

WEDNESDAY: Some sun followed by increasing clouds, high 42. Winds start to pick up throughout the afternoon.

THURSDAY: A clipper system comes towards our region, but the track looks to be farther to the north. We'll see some morning rain and snow showers, then turning mostly sunny and chilly, high 42 in the morning. Temperatures crash in the afternoon and winds gust up to 45mph.

FRIDAY: Remaining breezy and turning cooler under partly sunny skies, high 37. Wind chill values are expected to remain in the 20s throughout the day.

SATURDAY: Another chilly day with a mix of clouds and sun, high 38.

SUNDAY: It's not as cold, but still below average with temperatures returning to the 40s for the Eagles game. It's dry with partly sunny skies, high 49.

MONDAY: Increasing clouds and late-day rain is possible, high 52.
