AccuWeather: Mild and unsettled at times this weekend

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Turning bright for the last Monday of December, another rain chance for New Year's Eve.



TONIGHT: Sprinkle and reduced visibility to start then turning mostly cloudy. A peek of sun can't be ruled out especially around I-95 and areas east. Highs in the low 60s, 20 above average.



TONIGHT: A strong cold front will bring a period of heavy rain. Watch for ponding on roads. A rumble of thunder can't be ruled out with strong winds gusting up to 45mph. Temperatures stay steady.



MONDAY: The front exits very early tomorrow and takes remaining clouds with it. Turning brighter tomorrow and still running mild. High 58.



TUESDAY (NEW YEAR'S EVE): Increasing clouds with rain arriving later in the evening/night, high 56.



WEDNESDAY: A shower early. Otherwise, it's rather cloudy, high 50.



THURSDAY: Feeling more like January, breezy with some sunshine, high 40.



FRIDAY: Partly sunny, breezy and chilly, high 36.



SATURDAY: More clouds than sun, high 34.



SUNDAY: Partly sunny skies, cold. High in the mid-30s.
