1 dead when car, armored truck collide on Route 30

WEST SADSBURY TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A crash involving an armored truck claimed the life of one person in West Sadsbury Township, Chester County.

It happened just after 1:00 p.m. Saturday near Moscow Road.

The exact details of the crash are unclear but officials say the truck and one other vehicle collided.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Route 30, between Route 10 and Swan Road, was closed for more than three hours as police cleared the scene. The roadway has since reopened.

No word what caused the crash.
