1 critical in Wilmington hit-and-run

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- One person is in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash in Wilmington.

The crash happened just after 5:30 a.m. Sunday at Pennsylvania Avenue and Broome Street.

Police say an SUV and car collided.

It took rescue crews about 30 minutes to free him. He was taken to Christiana Hospital.

Police are searching for the driver of the SUV who ran from the scene.
