4 injured after car crashes into Wilmington house following accident

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after four people were injured when a car crashed into a house following an accident in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened Wednesday on the 900 block of North Spruce Street.

Police say the driver of a vehicle struck a car. The impact sent the struck vehicle into several parked cars before crashing into the side of a house.

The driver of the struck vehicle and three people in the residence were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries.

The cause of the initial crash is under investigation.
