Biker thrown from motorcycle after crash in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A woman was thrown from a motorcycle after a crash in Wilmington, Delaware on Thursday evening.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Thursday along 4th and Spruce streets.

Police say the female biker lost control and was thrown from her motorcycle.

The bike continued about 150 feet before coming to rest.

Medics rushed the victim to Christiana Hospital for treatment. No word on her condition.

Police are investigating.
