PHILADELPHIA -- Buses and RVs will fill the parking lots at Philadelphia's sports complex for Pope Francis' visit next month.

Organizers say the lots at Citizens Bank Park, Lincoln Financial Field and Wells Fargo Center will be primary bus parking locations during the Sept. 26-27 visit.

Transportation manager Go Ground says additional parking locations will be determined by the final number of registered buses.

Officials expect 10,000 buses to bring 400,000 people to the papal events. About 1,100 will park in Camden, New Jersey, a 2-3 mile walk across the Benjamin Franklin Bridge from the sites of Francis' public events.

The South Philadelphia stadiums are on a subway line with express downtown service.

Organizers say registered buses will be permitted on closed highways. Arrivals and departures will be staggered to ease congestion.
