Readying their pizza game plans
NEW YORK (AP) - January 30, 2008 Domino's, Papa John's and Pizza Hut
are also gearing up for Super Sunday. Pizza Hut says it'll be the
busiest day of the year, with about two and a-half million calls to
its 6,200 restaurants. Domino's expects to deliver more than
one-point-two million pies. That's a-third more than on a typical
Sunday. Over at Papa John's, they're expecting to make about
750,000 pizzas. Both Domino's and Pizza Hut say pepperoni is the
favorite topping for Super Bowl Sunday, with sausage coming in
second. Lots of football fans aren't waiting for Sunday, they've
already placed their Super Bowl pizza orders.
