Don't drive a stolen car to the police
ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) - February 21, 2008 Authorities in Anderson County, South Carolina, charge
Charles Chambers did just that. According to deputies, Chambers
went to the county sheriff's office to demand the return of nearly
$2,000 officers seized during a drug bust last June. After Chambers
was told to leave, officials say an officer noticed he got into a
car matching a stolen vehicle description. Authorities say the
car's ignition key switch had been removed. Chambers now faces new
charges, including possession of a stolen automobile.
