Pope tickets no longer available

NEW YORK The pope is expected to arrive at about 9 a.m. to celebrate Mass. Those gathered outside will have to pass through a security checkpoint between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.

People will still be able to see the pope in his popemobile when he travels north on Fifth Avenue from St. Patrick's Cathedral to East 72nd Street at 1:15 p.m., following the mass.

No tickets are necessary. However, the event is standing room only, so people are advised to arrive early.
