Boy pleads in video game killing of brother

MEDIA, Pa. (AP) - May 27, 2008 According to testimony in Delaware County, the boys had been fighting over a video game in their Lansdowne home in July. The older brother had his hand over the younger brother's mouth and was hitting him when the younger brother stabbed him.

Deputy District Attorney Daniel McDevitt says the plea made Tuesday in juvenile court is for the right charge. He says the boy thought he was justified in using deadly force, but he wasn't.

The boy was previously charged as an adult, but defense lawyer Michael Malloy got his client transferred to juvenile court. He could be in juvenile detention until he is 21.
