A suburban Kansas City man has survived being accidentally shot in the head with a nail gun.
George Chandler and a friend were working on a backyard project when the nail gun became tangled in the air hose.
A single two-and-a-half-inch nail was fired.
At first Chandler didn't realize it had gone into his skull.
An ambulance rushed him to a hospital, where the doctor used an ordinary claw hammer to pull out the nail.
Chandler says he feels fine and knows he's "very, very lucky."
