Three teens stabbed in Vineland

VINELAND, N.J. - June 16, 2008 Police say they were called to break up a fight that began in the parking lot of a Burger King restaurant on South Main Street Monday afternoon. Police say they were students from Vineland High School and Veterans Memorial Middle School which dismissed just after noon.

About an hour later police were again dispatched to the area of Valley and Chestnut Streets where they found three 15-year old boys bleeding from knife wounds.

One victim was airlifted to Cooper Medical Center in Camden with a stab wound to the upper chest. The second was airlifted to Atlantic City Medical Center with a stab wound to the back. The third was taken to Southern Regional Medical Center in Vineland with a cut to the chest. Their names are not being released.

Police say they found a kitchen-style knife at the scene but they have not said if any charges will be filed.
