Camden kids playing ball on White House lawn

WASHINGTON (AP) - June 30, 2008

The Cramer Hill Little League's Red Sox have a road game Monday: at the White House.

The team is scheduled to play one inning of ball against a Puerto Rican team - and get to meet President Bush.

Bush has been hosting an annual T-ball game on the South Lawn since he became president.

Since the team was picked earlier this month, Camden, a city that consistently ranks as one of the nation's poorest and most dangerous, has been celebrating.
