FBI seeks suburban bank robber

The Philadelphia Division of the FBI and The Pennsylvania State Police, are requesting the public's assistance to identify and locate an individual alleged to be responsible for the robbery of the National Penn Bank branch located at 1111 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA, on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at approximately 11:30 a.m. The subject is described as a male in his mid to late 20's wearing a black baseball cap with the letters "CR" on the front and a sticker tag still visible on the bill of the cap, black wire rimmed sunglasses, an oversized black long-sleeved shirt with the appearance of a white T-shirt underneath, and faded baggy blue jeans that appeared to have a square-shaped frayed area on the right thigh. After entering the bank, the suspect wrote a demand note impling that he had a weapon, however no weapon was displayed. The suspect approached a teller and gave her the demand note. The teller provided the suspect with an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fled the bank on foot. No vehicle was observed.
