Georgia men claim corpse is Bigfoot

ATLANTA (AP) - August 15, 2008 The body is crammed in a freezer. Matt Whitton and Rick Dyer maintain that DNA evidence will prove once and for all that the frozen creature is Bigfoot. They plan to present DNA test results and photographs during a news conference today in California.

Skeptics say it's just another Bigfoot hoax.

One Bigfoot researcher says a picture of the corpse looks like a "costume." He says the DNA test won't likely prove anything.

A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Reserve spokesman says officers also aren't taking the claim seriously and won't investigate Bigfoot because it's not a federal priority.

Whitton and Dyer now say they have expanded their search to look for leprechauns and the Loch Ness monster.
