The 22-year-old victim is in stable condition after the incident occurred near the tennis courts just after midnight Sunday. He is Khaleel Ferguson of Philadelphia.
Notice about the incident was posted on campus buildings Sunday night, but some students say they wish the school would have sent out a text message to warn them before then.
Millersville spokeswoman Janet Kacskos says police were not able to talk to the victim until later in the day Sunday, and officials didn't have sufficient information about the incident.
