Hit & Run Crash on I-76

A driver was seriously injured this morning, when his car broke down along Interstate 76, in Gladwyne, Montgomery County.

The victim had gotten out of his car, to check things out, near milemarker 335.

That's when, State Police say, a black Cadillac struck the man, then kept going. Police are searching for the car, and driver now.

The injured man was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He's in serious condition.

Both direction of 76 were shut down for about an hour, while police investigated.

The roadway was reopened about 4AM.
