Elderly woman found lying in waste

PORT RICHMOND - October 5, 2008 - Police were called to the 3000 block of Agate Street after an 85-year-old woman was reported to be ill.

Once they arrived, police say they found the woman lying in her own waste with bed sores.

The woman was taken to Northeast Hospital for dehydration and is listed in stable condition.

So far, no charges have been filed.
