Yesterday, he visited his 500th college, Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio.
It all started in 1984 when Steve and Caroline Lake were on their honeymoon in Boston.
They stopped to visit some of the area's well-known schools.
And they've kept it up.
But Caroline admits she'll often sleep in while he hits two or three campuses.
Steve Lake is a pit boss at Caesars Palace Casino in Las Vegas.
He says missed out on campus life because his Montreal college was crammed into a single office building.
