Home damaged in Wilmington fire

WILMINGTON, Del. - November 12, 2008 - Arriving firefighters reported heavy fire showing from the roof and reported there were roofers on scene who had been working.

The two story home sustained heavy damage to the roof and attic area.

One resident of the home was not injured but is displaced and staying with a friend.

The home next door at 1209 suffered smoke damage.

No one was injured in the fire. One firefighter was transported suffering back pain.

The Wilmington Fire Marshal is still investigating.
