Two men charged in home construction fraud

GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - November 28, 2008 Department of Justice spokesman Jason Miller says Andrew Jones and Jason James operated a company named Bavari Inc., which held contracts to build new homes in Sussex and Kent counties. The company allegedly stole more than $470,000 from homeowners and sub-contractors between 2003 and 2007.

Jones and James were indicted by a New Castle County grand jury on Wednesday.

Jones is charged with racketeering, conspiracy, theft and fraud charges. James is charged with theft and new home construction fraud.
