The Coast Guard, with the help of some Good Samaritans, rescued six people aboard a boat off the coast of Cape May Sunday. The call came into the Coast Guard around 8 a.m. from a crewman aboard the Nor' Easter II reporting they were taking on water and needed assistance.

Good Samaritans responding to a Coast Guard broadcast transferred four of the passengers ashore.

A Coast Guard rescue boat arrived on scene and pumped the water off the Nor' Easter II. The rescue crew also repaired the source of the leak.

The rescue boat crew towed the Nor' Easter II and the two crewmen to South Jersey Marina in Cape May.
