At first she thought something had fallen from the sky. She got up and ran.
It was no meteor that hit her home. A van had plowed into parked cars, ran down her fence and crashed into her home.
The home sustained moderate damage, but her balcony is likely a total loss. She called 911 to get help for anyone inside the van.
But, by the time she got to the wreckage, a neighbor said two young men had fled the van. They haven't been see since.
Manning is okay. Her home is not, and may need repairs immediately. Licensing and Inspections crews will determine if the home is safe to live in.
