Fugitive found in his home's freezer

A Pennsylvania man who escaped from a police car after being arrested at his home was nabbed again after returning to the house a short time later. Police say they found 22-year-old Jacob Gilfert hiding in a chest freezer in his home on Saturday when they arrived to arrest him on two warrants.

They say he was handcuffed and put in the back of a police car, but he escaped and ran into woods.

Troopers using infrared equipment in a state police helicopter found Gilfert, but they say he ignored calls to surrender.

Police say he instead returned home a short time later and was again arrested.

He was being held at Berks County Prison on Saturday in lieu of $50,000 bail.
