Caring for lawns of foreclosed homes

A Southern California town finds the grass is greener on the other side of the -- spray gun.

Perris, Calif., is in the epicenter of the foreclosure crisis.

With so many homes unoccupied, the lawns are are going brown.

The town has hired a contractor to spray green dye on the abandoned grass.

Officials say the spray paint is environmentally friendly and is harmless to people and pets.
