Del. man wanted for stalking surrenders

CHRISTIANA, Del. - March 27, 2009 - Cpl. Trinidad Navarro says William Dericco surrendered at the New Castle County courthouse Thursday after calling the woman more than 20 times in one week.

Navarro says Dericco allegedly moved into the woman's community after stalking her for more than a year since they ended their relationship.

Dericco is charged with felony stalking, violating the no-contact order and six counts of harassment. He's being held at the Young Correctional Institution.

He was also arrested in August for allegedly harassing the woman, prompting the no-contact order.
